BOE Finance Committee & Regular Monthly Meeting

The TCAS Board of Education will hold it's regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, May 12, 2025 beginning at 6:00pm, in the boardroom at 94 Cherry Street, Sand Lake, MI. Please see the attached meeting notices and agenda for more details.

The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Food, and Nutrition Services is once again sponsoring a summer Michigan EBT program for school-age children. The program is called SUN Bucks! This is a grocery benefits program to help families buy food during the summer when schools are closed. Each eligible school-age child can receive $120 for qualifying groceries. See the attached flyer for more information on eligibility and how to apply.

The Tri County Area Schools Board of Education will have a special meeting on Monday, March 17, beginning at 6:00pm to review and update the district's strategic plan. Meeting notice and agenda attached.

• If you reside in the Tri County Area School District and have a child who turns 5 years-old on or before September 1st, 2025, they are eligible to attend Kindergarten in the fall.
• You will meet our building administrators, Kindergarten teachers, and our school nurse
• You hear about Kindergarten expectations, and learn ways to help your child prepare for school
• Items to bring: Your child's birth certificate, current immunization record, and proof of residency

The Tri County High School Counseling Dept. is hosting a College and Career Fair on Tuesday, March 4th, in the cafetorium at the high school.  The event will take place from 5:00-7:00pm, concurrently with Parent/Teacher conferences. The College and Career Fair will feature over 25 area businesses and colleges. Come check out the great opportunities we have in our area! See you there!
