Although not new to Tri County Area Schools, Raye Wood is embarking on a new adventure in a different role at MacNaughton Learning Center. We are excited to welcome her to their team and look forward to the positive impact she will continue to make across our district. Enjoy a few words from Dr. Raye Wood:

I am entering my 21st year of teaching this fall. I have worked with all grades K-12 as well as adult learners. I'm married to Jeff and we have 3 grown daughters and 3 grandsons who are the light of my life. This school year I am looking forward to working with Mrs. Elton. We're fortunate to have worked together for several years and are committed to making our program a safe place for our students. I will be working with students across grades 9-12 with a focus on English Language Arts and credit recovery. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my grandsons, reading, knitting, crocheting and writing books! (Fun fact: I have written more than 5 books!)

Outside of work, my wife, Cindy, and I enjoy spending time with our two children, Harper (13) and Owen (9). Whether we're cheering at sporting events, spending time outdoors, or enjoying family adventures, those moments together are what I value most.
