Mrs. Nielsen

(she's the art teacher if that tells you anything)

Mrs. Nielsen has been teaching here since 1980.  Mrs. Nielsen graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and a Master’s Degree in Education.  Mrs. Nielsen is currently teaching Art I, Drawing & Painting and Sculpture, Adv. Drawing & Painting and Sculpture, Portfolio.

Mr. Overbeek

Mr. Overbeek began teaching at TriCounty in 1994. He graduated from Aquinas College in 1994 with a BA degree in Political Science. Mr. Overbeek and his wife Mary have two daughters, Anna and Emma. He teaches physical education and mathematics. He also coaches varsity baseball and is an assistant with the girl's varsity basketball team.

Mr. Patin

Mr. Patin has been teaching at Tri County since 2001. He graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor's degree in English Education and an Associate's degree in Journalism. He is also a 1994 Tri County graduate. Mr. Patin teaches American Literature and English III.

Mrs. Patin

Ms. Patin has been here since 2000.  She graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelors degree in Spanish. , and from Grand Valley with a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership.  Mrs. Patin is the Spanish Club advisor, and has taken students on trips to Mexico and Spain. She enjoys attending TCHS athletic events, traveling, and spending time with her husband.

Mrs. Porter

Mrs. Porter graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor's degree in psychology. Mrs. Porter's has been since 1998. Mrs. Porter is currently teaching Special Education English, co-teaching Intro Science, as well a study lab.
