Middle School History
*Built in 1964. In
February of 1965 grades 9th—12th moved into this
building. *In 1964, Carol Simpson,
from the graduating class of 1965, designed Viking terrazzo, which lies on
the main entrance floor. Class of 1965, 66, 67, and 68 contributed the funds
for the Viking terrazzo. *Class of 1965 was the
first class to graduate from new high school building. There were 76
graduates. *In 1967, track around
football field was laid. *In 1993, this building
became the middle school, housing grades 6th-8th. *In 1999, six classrooms
and multi-purpose room were added. |
