MacNaughton Elementary 

*In 1957, MacNaughton Elementary was built. It was named after Orison A. MacNaughton, the superintendent of Howard City Schools from 1924 to 1959. The school housed grades kindergarten through sixth and had seven classrooms, an office, gymnasium, and kitchen.

*In 1967, an addition was added to MacNaughton Elementary. It included six classrooms, a library, and a storage area.

*In 1992, 14 classrooms, multipurpose room, and two storage rooms were added to MacNaughton. The office, teacher’s lounge, nurse’s room, and kitchen were remodeled.
